This week we're doing something a little special for ep 9 of our Seann William Scott season- we are watching and reviewing 2 different TV appearances by our boy SWS. First we review S9E5 of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, "Mac Day" where SWS guest stars as "Country Mac". Then we take a look at S3E9 of the Lethal Weapon TV show where SWS costars as ex-CIA Wesley Cole. 

This one is gonna get weird folks.... The GBGBs also explore their best SWS impressions with Mad Libs and discuss the phenomenon of film actors crossing into TV.

The Seann Shack: Goon (2011)

Eight episodes into our Seann William Scott marathon and we have arrived at GOON (2011)! This film had a limited release in Canada but later surged in popularity on Netflix, leading fans to consider this a bit of a comeback for our buddy SWS. 

Goon stars Seann William Scott as Doug Glatt, a dimwitted hockey fan who gets recruited to a minor league hockey team as an "Enforcer" after a video of him fighting goes viral. 

Also discussed: possible improvements to the game of hockey, watching local hockey brawls, and Ryan's painful tattoo story.

The Seann Shack: Stark Raving Mad (2002)

The GBGBs watch their first made-for-tv movie with their review of the 2002 film Stark Raving Mad!  We are also joined by friend of the podcast Kaimi to help us review this dang thing.

This movie stars our good pal Seann William Scott as the wisecracking leader of a heist crew who are attempting to steal an ancient statue under the cover of a rave. Does this sound like an insane AI output? Yes. But fear not friends, this movie is all natty, and boy is it a doozy.

The Seann Shack: Final Destination (2000)

Does anyone else remember Seann William Scott being in Final Destination? Per our Seann Rule, he is once again the best part of the movie. This dude was coming hot out of the gate in 2000 with this unique twist on the horror genre. Final Destination spawned a long line of sequels and induced a lifelong fear of log trucks for an entire generation. 

 

In addition to reviewing the movie, the boys also brainstorm how they could make airplanes better and revel in an effective deployment of our boy Seann.

Anyone remember the absolutely insane 2003 film "Bulletproof Monk"? Well these boys (sorta) do! Join us as we discuss another entry in our Seann William Scott season. One that also hails from his legendary run in 2003 where he starred in 4 consecutive movies. 

 

The GBGBs once again discuss if our boy Seann deserves more credit for what he brought to these wild movies. Is there something here that people were missing? They also attempt to brainstorm a brand new martial art and discuss whether or not Mr. Funktastic deserved more screentime.

This sci-fi comedy stars Orlando Jones and David Duchovny as community college professors who have uncovered evidence of rapidly evolving alien life from a meteorite. Our boy Seann William Scott plays an overzealous firefighter recruit who aids the professors in getting to the bottom of this strange alien invasion.
